Each year, the orchestra performs for approximately 7,000 school children free of charge. The outreach for these concerts spans from the Mesa School District to home-schooled families, private schools and elementary schools both inside and outside the East Valley area.

‘The Night Will Be Filled With Music’ is the concert theme song. Derived from Longfellow’s classic poem, ‘Day is Done’ that speaks to the healing power of music – this theme will permeate the evening.

The concert will take place at the Mesa Arts Center’s Virginia G. Piper Theater. The Mesa Arts Center is a performing and visual arts complex in downtown Mesa, Arizona. At more than 210,000 square feet, the $95 million facility, completed in 2005, is the largest comprehensive arts campus in the state. Wine and concessions are available.
